πTHIS IS A CRYPTIC STORY!
The man was obsessed with an idol called A (note: an idol is usually an entertainer who sings and dances. Wikipedia).
Since he lived on a modest income, he was always short of money, but whatever he could spare he spent on the idol A.
Whenever new photo books or DVD were released, he would always go to the release events and spent all the money he had.
That was how he lived his day-to-day life.
That particular day, he went to the idol A's birthday event.
Just as he was waiting in line to shake hands with her, the idol A's manager came over and spoke to him.
"Thank you always for your support."
Because the man would turn up at every event and spend so much money on the merchandise, he had become a familiar face to the staff.
"A is so grateful for your support too," the manager added.
The man was secretly so overjoyed to hear it.
At last, his turn came to shake hands with the idol.
"Oh ~ thank you so much! You're so nice."
It made him feel ecstatic to see her happy and smiling right in front of him.
A few days later, the idol A was found dead on the road outside her own home. She had died of multiple stab wounds on her body.
The murderer turned out to be that man.
He was identified as the culprit mainly from eyewitness accounts.
The man did not resist when the police came for him.
"Why did you do it?"
When the detective asked, the man replied:
"Because it was always dark."

My guess
1) maybe when the man stalking idol A she is in the middle make out with the manager in the dark? π€£And he knows it for long time and they always did it in the dark
2) Same thing with first guess, but the man actually liking the manager ?not the idol that is why he stab idol A.
Since he always spends the rest of his income for her merchandise. He's left with nothing else.
Now that he knows he's appreciated/noticed, he found it justified to stop wasting money on her from now on.
My other guess is that he's blind but I reread it, and he can actually see.

This one is hard and I won't blame you if you can't figure it out π It is very very very subtle.

Well, I'm stumped. I'm not so sure whether something happened during the handshake... something about fingerprint, maybe? But I think he managed to know her address somehow, but realized that her place's always dark, which means she was staying somewhere else. Feeling jealous and betrayed, he killed her?
That aside, that video sure is something lol. Just what kind of ride...
