A Made-Up Story

A girl made up a story and published it on the Internet as a true story. The story went like this; there was a park where, if you went, you would see a boy always playing on his own. He would say to you "Let's play together." If you answered "Yes," you would be killed but if you answered "No," you could go home safe. The story quickly spread among children.

One day the same girl went to a park and saw a boy actually playing there. The boy said to her, "Let's play together." The girl thought nothing of it and casually replied "Yes."

And the girl died.

  1. Predictable, but good. :3

  2. Perhaps she said yes because she wanted to die. Maybe that's why she made up the story in the first place.

When you think about it that way it isn't so scary of a story.

  8. Maybe the story we just read was the made up story the story was talking about...if that makes any sense.

  10. This is the main reason why you should never spread rumors or make up things and tell people it is true.
Karma has no friend or foe when deciding man's fortune or fate.

  11. This is a good story, but I think it's a little obvious to have it state, "She died." I think it would be more creepy and fun to leave it hanging.

  13. I rather like this story. And besides,She could have just made the story up on the spot, without knowning it was true, and it could've been going on for years.
