(This is sort of a cryptic story π§‘)
Two men were driving in a car on a coastal road.
It was a cool day in early summer, so only a number of people were swimming in the sea; but the beach was bustling with many people --- families, couples, women and men of all ages.
It looked like a normal everyday scenery.
But the driver felt there was something a little strange about it.
After they had driven past the beach, and it had disappeared into the distance, the man in the passenger seat opened his mouth.
"Did you see that?"
His face was tense, in contrast to the cheerful expression he wore before they saw the beach.
"No one on the beach was looking at the sea.
No matter what they were doing, they were all either standing or sitting with their backs to the beach."

⭐Bonus Story:
"TV Screen"
I was watching TV with my family while having dinner.
Suddenly, the screen turned all black and a flat, lifeless voice of a woman sounded from it, saying, "Turn off the TV."
Everyone froze when they heard it.
The TV screen returned to its normal state soon afterwards, showing the channel we were watching before.
But even now I still wonder what it was.

About the story, I feel like I'm close to getting it, but I still don't. Hmmm...
First of all, the first picture. ARE THOSE TRULY NOT SOME DEEP SEA GIANT CUTTLEFISH MASQUERADING AS SEAWEED TO DEVOUR UNSUSPECTING SURFERS?
I'm scare of the deep sea. So this picture gives me the heebie-jeebies.
So, the people in the second story were all looking at the narrator and his friend in the car? That's all I got. This one stumped me. Imma looked at the others' comments after this.
Seriously, if something similar happened to me like in the bonus story, I'd probably just think 'eh?' and that's it. I guess if there's something horror going on I'd perish first, then. Aha. Ha.
I ... I guessit makes sense. We need slippers to walk. I honestly do not know what to think about this pairing.
