Silent Hill 4 Trailer

Silent Hill 4 "The Room"(Playstation 2) is known to be one of the creepiest games ever produced and this trailer does justice to its reputation.


I want to play this game but I'm not good at action games.

i can't play ANY of the silent hill games. so i watch my older sister play them. the 4th one is really good, but i think my favorite one is the second silent hill. you are introduced to 'pyramid head'. a creepy monster with a giant steel pyramid placed on top of its head. if you know someone who likes playing the games, you should sit down and watch them play, with the volume turned WAY up and the lights off :)

This was the first Silent Hill game I a passed :D
It's not really much of an action game, really! There's only one boss fight, and it's about as easy as any other enemy XD
I didn't find it too incredibly scary, but the ghosts and hauntings that come in the second half gave me the chills, I'll admit ._.

Considering how old this is (haha, forgive me), DID you ever end up playing this game? It's not as good as the first 3 but it's pretty fun and not that hard lol.
But aaah all the monsters have a deep, sentimental meaning behind them and they're so creepy already ;_;

I have this game for PC, and at first it isn't very impressive, but it does get pretty creepy in later parts.

Personally, this game is actually my second favorite of the series. I think it carries a deep and emotional resonance throughout.

I have this game on my computer, but haven't gotten very far into it due to busyness of life and at times it freezes. But I can play the song in the trailer on piano.

I'm still playing the first one and it freaks me out. Excpecially if you leave the controller vibration on, when your characters heart beat starts going erratic you can feel it with the vibration through the controller. When it first happened I almost threw my controller across the room ^^"

i could never play such a game, i'd throw the controler at the tv as soon as the first moster turns up-.-'

I used to watch my boyfriend play such games though. notsilent hill, but similar. It was always very enjoyable especially since he wasn't exactly fearless eitherXD

Love the film though

The trailer is indeed good. Too bad the game just wasn't that creepy. And for the most part, it was only connected to the rest of the Silent Hill franchise in name only. I consider it the worst of the SH games that I have played so far. I have never played SH: Homecoming yet, so I don't know about that one... yet.

man i heard about silent hill for a long time but the only one i played was the first one and silent hill: shattered memories for Wii and sm was not as scary or horrifying as the old ones mainly because you cant attack only run but when you run you get intense you can hide but not forever and the enemies are not scary either more like evil entity of children but more demonic and the only thing that can protect you is flares because they hate the heat but its defense, not attacking i drop it in a narrow hallway to buy time from those freaks but after all its not really scary more of a puzzle game

I know this is quite old, but I would highly recommend you play this game if you still haven't. It's my personal favourite of the Silent Hill series and has some of the most fantastically unsettling atmosphere that I have ever seen. Not to mention the story is great as well. If you're not good at action games, there's no shame in setting the difficulty to "easy" haha. :)
