❤️Updating Every Saturday Evening (Japan Time)
(Translated and Arranged by Saya)
One morning, on my way to my apartment’s parking lot, I heard a sharp noise behind me.
I turned around and saw a can of juice rolling on the concrete-tile walkway.
I looked up and saw a boy and a girl of elementary school age looking down from a balcony on the 6th floor.
They were both grinning mischievously, which told me that it was a prank they had played on me.
“Is it you who have done this?”
The children nodded vigorously.
“You mustn’t do this to people. Do you understand?”
The children only continued to look down at me with a huge grin on their faces.
“Stop grinning like that!”
I yelled impatiently.
Sure it was an empty can, but it could have still hurt me if it had hit my head.
I felt I had a responsibility to tell them off properly, so that they wouldn’t repeat such an act ever again.
“Little children use this walkway too. You should never throw things down like that. Do you understand?”
“Shut up, bitch!”
The boy shouted and both of them withdrew from the balcony.
I got so upset by this, but then I couldn’t afford to be late for work, so I rode away on my scooter to work.
That night, after having parked my scooter in the parking lot, I was walking down the same walkway I had used in the morning.
As I recalled what had happened that morning, I felt upset again.
—- But just then, something fell from above, swooshing past my face and almost touching my fringe before it hit the ground.
THUD!!!
At my feet lay a bundle of newspapers, firmly tied and secured with duct tape.
It was quite large and heavy, and I would have needed both my arms to pick it up.
Had it hit me squarely on my head, it would have caused me severe injury.
Shuddering at the thought of it, I looked up and caught a glimpse of a woman’s impassive face before she retreated from the balcony on the 5th floor.
Since then, I have become scared of telling children off.

This week I was planning to translate something different but ran out of time lol
But I hope you like this story!
It’s kinda interesting what happened at the end.
I have my own theory, but I would like to hear your opinions first!
I’m looking forward to hearing from you ~ 🩷
Thank you so much as always for visiting my blog!
Take care and see you soon! 😄
It's no doubt dangerous, but perhaps those kids were actually warning the protagonist of future event, at least that's what I read in a comic somewhere 🤔
or the woman on the balcony tried to murder the protagonist for scolding her kids....
Nice 👍
I always find these kind of stories to be the scariest because humans are the most unpredictable.
I wonder how did the woman recognise our protagonist because the kids that he scolded was on the sixth floor while the woman was living on the fifth floor. Maybe he's a bad neighbour and they were fed up with him 🤣
Is that a story from a comic book? Sounds interesting 😆
I’ve actually heard of such an incident happening in real life before, in Japan!
Someone threw down random objects from his room in an tall building 😱
I hope the children had a good intention!
Or their mother was one of those crazy parents who don’t like to be told that their children are sometimes imperfect 😓
Thank you so much for your comment 😊🙏🏻
I would move house immediately too! 🤣
Well done for spotting it! 🤣👍
Thank you so much for your comment!!
You’re welcome! 😊
To be honest, I have been wanting to translate a new episode from Master Series for the longest time.
But you might have to wait for a bit because I have lots of things to do right now.
That’s the curious part! The fact that the woman was on the 5th floor.
My theory is that she chose to do it from a lower floor, so that she could have a better aim at the narrator.
Thank you so much for your comment 🙏🏻✨
Sorry I nearly missed your comment!
How so? Perhaps she needs an exorcist too? 😆
Thank you so much for your comment!
Somehow, I am imagining the newspaper roll contains something from the author's apartment haha. If so, they are truly neighbors from hell.
AND I DIDN'T SEE IT. WHAT IS IT??
Look closely at one of the tyres! 😆
Thank you so much for your comment ~🩷
the picture... people in the US, like where it snows, are warned to check their cars for animals (usually cats) before turning them on. Cars are more protected and warm so animals are often drawn to reside in them overnight, and can get hurt or killed by the car turning on and the wheels moving.
