I am not smart, nor am I good at communicating with others.
I am sure I am not needed by anyone.

At home, I was literally a punching bag for my father. His abuse was becoming more and more severe everyday.
I was just so sad.

"You thought you could escape?"
I tried to run away from home, but he would always find me immediately. When he brought me home, he would hit me so much harder than he usually did.
I am the one at fault, because I am so slow.
While he hit me, my pregnant mother and big sister cooked dinner, talking cheerfully to each other.

But such unhappy days will end today.
I feel my consciousness leave me, little by little.
I know that all people --- everyone, including me --- wanted this to happen.
So I am doing what I am expected to do!
I am going to die...to make everyone happy...

A few months later.

"A healthy boy!"
An old man's voice announces.
I am crying loudly, even though I don't feel sad.
I open my eyes. I see two people, a man and a woman, looking down at me.
Somehow, they look familiar.

The man says to me in a sweet, gentle voice:

"You thought you could escape?"

So in this story the narrator got reincarnated as his or her own little brother, the father somehow knows this and the abuse starts again. Well, I'd say he should kill him but then... the abuser might come back years from now as one of the boy's children!

Ah, the dad bullied and abused the little girl into oblivion so he can have a boy to be proud of; it reminds me how China's population got messed up by implementing "One Child Policy" whilst knowing that most families prefer a boy. The preference for a baby boy seems to be common in some countries. Even Henry VIII did horrible things and a religion/sect just to have a baby boy. It's a running joke: "A boy or a bortion?"

Thr weird part is the Dad seems to know a thing or two about exploiting some reincarnation mechanics.

This reminds me of a manga about a guy who was abused by his obsessive little sister. They both die in a car accident and he reincarnates in another world, but so did the sister who finds him again. The guy got powers to fight back though, hope this person does too. πŸ˜…

So Saya-San, Here the girl is very much depressed and hopeless, and no one cares about her. She wants to commit suicide to escape the torture she suffers. She ias fed up with her life.
This story shows humans are much more scarier and dangerous than anything else Nothing paranormal, but the scariest truth, many people suffer across the world. This is a real incident.
Saya_In_Underworld said…
I agree with you!πŸ˜†✨But people are also capable of great selfless love.

The story is very depressing. Humans are sometimes very evil TT_TT
The picture is scary too. Is it from a horror movie?

At least you and I are good people πŸ˜†πŸŒΈ✨

I am not sure where the picture comes from. But I heard a rumour that it was drawn by an abused child. But it's just a rumour.

I feel so sad for the narrator πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜ Hope “she”, now “he” since he reincarnated into a boy, could get revenge, or talk some sense into his father. Time to go cry
Saya_In_Underworld said…
It certainly doesn't come from Days no Uta πŸ˜†

No one said the narrator was a girl to start with but everyone is assuming the person was a girl.πŸ˜†✨

So sad when someone doesn't see another solution apart from death/suicide. What's sadder is that the father didn't regret the abuse he did to the child. It seemed more like he is using his wife as a baby machine to abuse children.

My question is, was the big sister of the narrator abused as well by the father only released from that suffering when the narrator was born? (before the reincarnation)

Would there have been a difference in the story if the narrator continued through the suffering until his/her pregnant mother gave birth to another baby?

Does mother and big sister not care? Or are they afraid of the father as well? Did they also go through abuse from him and only became free from abuse when a baby becomes the next target?

Does he (father) even love his wife & children or did he only got married and a family to avoid targeting strangers? Was it a trick for easy targets that he can manipulate? To avoid law enforcement?

So many questions. So many theories.

Thanks for the story :D

I think my comment is longer xD

Some people who abuse their families think they are doing something good to them, like they are trying to educate them.

For some people, being violent is the only way they know how to communicate.

Some people are just sadistic and find pleasure in torturing others.

Also some people are so insecure that they use violence as a means to control others.

I have heard of a mother who cooperated with her husband in abusing their child because she didn't want to be his target.

There can be many reasons.πŸ˜†✨

Hi Saya!
This story is obviously creepy,, poor tortured soul...
but then I was thinking about memes about reincarnation... I just have morbid (often inappropriate) and dark sense of humor haha :D

Happy to oblige. Saya, I am hoping to come to Japan within the year. What would you recommend as the not to miss site in Tokyo? Also any idea of a day trip to rural Japan?
Saya_In_Underworld said…
Umm... That's a difficult questionπŸ˜†✨

It depends on what kind of experiences you are looking for. Do you like historic places? Do you enjoy beautiful nature or do you prefer being in a bustling city? Perhaps you could ask yourself these kinds of questions first!

But if it's in Tokyo, all foreigners visit Asakusa. 😊✨

Kamakura is a lovely historic place that is easily accessible from Tokyo!
George V said…
Asakusa is definitely a must see place. I am also thinking of going on the haunted Tokyo tour and the Shibuya bar crawl tour. One of the YouTube channels, I watch, recommended getting out of Tokyo for a day trip to get a taste of rural life.

What sin did he do to his family in his previous life to be treated so badly.
The grudge is strong with the family.
