❤️Updating Every Saturday Evening (Japan Time)
NEXT UPDATE WILL BE ON 20th APRIL

(Translated and Arranged by Saya)

On my way home, my stomach suddenly started hurting, so I got off the train before my stop and ran into a toilet.

After I had finished my business, I looked up, and noticed a telephone number scribbled on the door.

Under the telephone number, it was written:

“Don’t call! You will regret it.”

It was a kind of graffiti you would see everywhere.
But something about it piqued my curiosity, and I decided make an anonymous call to the number.

I heard a ringtone coming from the cubicle right next to mine.

Hello, everyone! 😊

As it says in the post, I’ll be taking a break over the next three weeks.
The next update will be on 20th April.

Sorry for such a long break. But I feel like I need itπŸ˜…πŸ™πŸ»

If decide to post something before that date, I will let you know on my social media accounts😊❤️

Thank you so much for your support and kind understanding!

Take care and be happy πŸ’•

No need for a story to be supernaturalto be scary/weird. This could be anything, from a prank to something worse, all possibilities being mundane. Nice story and enjoy your break

Thank you so much for your kind words πŸ™πŸ»

What a nasty prank. I am assuming it is a prank, as the narrator is telling us the story.... Unless this is a message from beyond.... Thanks Saya as always!
@George V
There was someone in the next cubicle, so perhaps it was more than just a prank😱

Thank you so much for your comment!πŸ™πŸ»✨

Now I imagine some naughty and nasty thing ensuing in that public toilet.
@allucinator
Something shady is usually going on inside public toilets at night!!😱
That’s why they have invented the famous transparent toilets in Shibuya!! (I think it was in Shibuya lol)

Thank you so much for your comment!!😊⭐️

Someone definitely planted that phone in the next cubicle just to mess with people.

And take all the time you need, Saya! We will be there for you when you come back, but you should put your own needs first.
@Anonymous(25 March 2024 at 00:51)
I hope it’s just a phone there! Imagine there is actually a person waiting for a call😱LOL

Thank you so much, you are an angelπŸ˜πŸ™πŸ» I hope you’re happy wherever you are ~ 🌸✨

Could it be that Saya-san is a book writer too? I just read a book called henna ie by uketsu and for some reason I feel that the storytelling style is similar to Saya-san's, but if not, please forgive me.
@Aeri Chan

I’ve heard of that book! I’d like to read it tooπŸ˜†

Hah! this one made me laugh, like a prank. I can imagine so many reasons, from just someone making a joke, like putting a burner phone in the next stall to startle people, to a cheekier way to hook up (which is what bathroom numbers are usually posted for: "call xxx-xxxx for a good time" is the standard phrase in english).

ive been reading your blog for years and years Saya, and i've always enjoyed the stories you've chosen and your translation style, and your footnotes. you're an inspiration for me! (i want to be a translator too, and im in my last year of my japanese major). so rest assured that i can patiently wait for you to enjoy your break to avoid burnout. your wellbeing is most important! your blog has a special place in my horror-loving heart, and half of that is how delightful you've been, so i really want you to be well rested and happy. :)
@Steeple:

Thank you so much for your kind words! I always enjoy reading your comments too! πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»

Wow! You major in Japanese? Wow! Amazing!!
You are an intelligent person so I know you will be a brilliant translator!

Actually this would be a good prank to play in real life!🀣 I wish I could do it!

Leaving your own number for such a lewd purpose is unpalatable to me πŸ˜…

I feel like I ought to use my break to brush up my English but I’m running out of time 😱
At least I should read a novel or something.

Anyway thank you so much again ~ I hope we’ll talk again soon! πŸ˜„πŸ‘
Take care!🌸
